QuiQui smiled at NIghtfall, blushing slightly. "Thanks Nightfall.....that'd be nice." she replied softly, tilting her head to one side.

Chance chuckled at Angel. "Well......you're in for a story! Especially the part where your brave old Daddy saved all the dogs from a Blood Red Van!" Chance exclaimed.

Delilah laughed, and leaped up, pinning Chance on the ground. "Hmm.....from what I remember, it was us saving you from that van." she replied, with a smile.

Angel leaped up, leaning on her mother. "Wow! It sounds exciting! Can we just start it? Pleeeeeease?" Angel pleaded, her eyes wider than ever.

Chance rolled over on his stomach. "Now Angel.....Red's your brother......we have to wait." Chance concluded, glancing up at Delilah with a smile.

Meanwhile, Tia slowly began to awake. She yawned & blinked a couple of times, getting the sleep out of her eyes. She looked at everyone, seeing sleeping dogs everywhere. Tia smiled, seeing Butch close. Slowly, Tia stood up, making usre not to arouse anyone. She walked near the entrance, but stopped, hearing Fire. "Can I ask you something alone" Tia smiled, and slowly backed away, sitting in a corner.

Chance perked is ears up, hearing the word "food". He ran over to the fence, leaning on the top. "Um...hey, I heard the magic word...." he laughed slightly. "Well, whatever you find is good for me...." Chance shouted out to them. He walked over to Delilah. "Hey!" he greeted, laying beside her.

Delilah laughed slightly, licking his cheek. "So.....I see you had fun with the pups again." Delilah & Chance went into their conversation, talking about nonsense like usual.

Angel sighed, seeing her parents talking boring stuff. "Like usual...." Angel replied, walking away. She walked over to the fence again, peering out. Suddenly, she smiled & ran over to Delilah, interrupting her parents. "Mom! Mom! Can you tell me a story? Those stories when you were a wild dog?" Angel asked, wide eyed.

"Hmm.....how about we wait for Red. I'm sure he'd like to hear about it." Delilah replied with a smile.

QuiQui looked at Nightfall. "Oh, heh, I'm not sad.....just....well, angry I guess. Riley doesn't teach that boy anything! He's going to be a spoiled brat........and he'll be worser when he's older!" QuiQui exclaimed, glaring in the air. "Jack needs to learn a lesson or two..." she replied.

Sukari looked at Fire with sympethetic eyes. "Oh Fire...." she whispered. Sukari nuzzled Nat again. "Don't worry.......it's ok....it's ok," she comforted, wiping his tears away. "Their gone...."

Midnight cocked her head to one side, watching the poor cubs. She turned to Hideaki. "Hideaki," she whispered, gently pushing him aside from the rest. "We need to help them.....I mean really help them. We need to be on guard to make sure nothing, I mean absolutely nothing, happens to them." she replied, looking into his eyes, hoping he'd realize her seriousness. "I don't want anything to happen to them again." she whispered.

Lily looked up at Fire again. "Daddy, please don't let them get mommy or us." she replied, once in her life saying "mommy" & "daddy". Lily felt small & hopeless, a feeling she'd never felt before.

OCC: Lol....just so you all know, Jack & Riley are puppies.

QuiQui appeared, a large steak in her mouth. She dropped it in front of Nightfall & Kay. "Hey, care to eat?" she teased, nudging the steak towards them.

Jack quickly ran in front of QuiQui. "H-h-hold it! Hold it! I think I should eat first."

QuiQui glared slightly at Jack. "Now Jack, that isn't fair." she replied, nudging Jack away.

"Who won that fight?" Jack exclaimed. "Who's the best pup here? Who's the leader's son?" Jack asked, looking up at them.

QuiQui sighed & shook her head. "Whatever....." she replied walking away to find shade.

Angel appeared in front of Red. "Hmph....I was distracted, that's all." she explained, shaking dust off her fur.

Krakuia held her head slightly high. "Thank you Isao." she replied softly, nuzzling him. "I just want to help my friends." she replied, cocking her head to one side.

Princess glared at Butch, "N-"

"Sure," Tia whispered, scooting over a little. She smiled at Butch, her eyes glowing in the darkness.

Princess breathed out hard, putting her head on the opposite side of where Butch & Tia were. At least it's warmer.....

Sukari lay her head on Nat's for a long time. "You're not going to be food.....I promise." she whispered, her eyes a little watery too.

Midnight nodded. "Yeah, we'll be here." she said softly.

Lily squeezed in with them, wanting to be safe. "Why father?" she asked, looking up at Fire. "Why does this have to happen to us?"

Takuo slowed down, faw away from the others now. "Shigeru, you're a great fighter, but as you know, I am too. Now I'm not exaggerating, Sukari's snickering, dispicable mate won't give up. He's a strong fighter......but a lousy wolf." Takuo replied spitting.

Lenia walked in the middle of the two. "Welllll.....if you can't get Sukari......there's always Midnight." she replied, smiling evilly. "So Shigeru, whoever you choose, you must tell me at once. Because....." Lenia walked over to a fallen branch. She picked it up in her mouth. "I'm going to kill the other one." she replied, breaking the branch in half.

Delilah glanced over at Shadow. "Hey Shadow, how's it going?" she asked, taking her eyes off Chance finally.

Angel gave the tie one more sharp pull, only to loose her own grip. Angel went tumbling away, finally stopping in front of the backyard gate. She shook her dizziness away, peering out of the gate through a crack. Her eyes suddenly popped open, seeing a large white dog run across the street, a juicy steak in its mouth. "Wow," she whispered, watching people run after the white dog.

"Delilah? Come on! Losing isn't that bad!" Chance teased, congratulating Red. "Good job, son. I'm proud of you." Chance replied, placing a paw on his son's shoulder.

Jack leaped up on a ripped, stringy couch pillow. His head high, he looked over at all the dogs. "Nobody messes with Jack!" he shouted, beginning to howl.

Show off....Rontu replied, watching Jack make a fuss over himself. "Yay Jack," Rontu moaned.

Riley appeared in front of Jack. "Jack, what are you doing?" Riley asked, smiling proud at his son.

"Huh? Oh, hey dad. Just showing everyone who's the boss around here.....well, besides you that is." Jack said, shrugging.

Riley chuckled, petting his son's head. "Again, huh? Well....take a break, buddy. You'll get there soon."

"I already am." Jack bragged with a smile.

Riley laughed, leaving Jack to himself.

Sukari looked at Nat for a while, feeling sorry for him. "They're.......they're just bad animals....it's ok..." Sukari turned to Lenia, leaving her kids for a second. She walked in front of Fire, her face only inches away from Lenia's. "I'm warning you & if you don't leave, you're going to be sorry. This is not the future I want for my kids. So if you don't get out of our lives, you'll be sorry. So watch out." Sukari said sharply.

Lenia moved closer, her nose barely touching Sukari's. "No......I think you're the one who better watch out." she whispered, glaring into Sukari's eyes. Lenia walked away to Takuo. "Come on, let's get out of here. We've wasted our time already." lenia replied, padding away.

Takuo gave Fire a cold stare. "You haven't seen the last of us." Takuo replied, spitting. He then took off with Lenia & Shigeru.

"Are you alright?" Midnight asked, nuzzling Sukari & Fire. Midnight stopped & looked down, feeling a little paw tap her.

Lily's eyes were watery, little tears rolling down her cheeks. She took one step forward, her left paw still in the air. "W.....what's happening?" she whispered.

I'm guessing that's a no......well, it seems hard to go on without anyone wanting to be Delilah or Chance.....but, I guess I'll just play them.

I'll start:

"Come on Red! You can do it!" Chance cheered, leaping in the air. He was having his son & daughter play a game of tug of war with their humans' tie. Delilah was against it, but Chance insisted that it would strengthen the puppies' teeth.

Angel tugged at one end of the tie, growling as she did. She felt herself losing grip, so she began shaking her head furiously, hoping that would release Red's hold.

Delilah lay on the back porch, watching Chance & the puppies. She laughed slightly, shaking her head. "Chance, Chance Chance." she replied, smiling.

Meanwhile, Rontu & Jack were having a little wrestle competition in the junkyard area. "Grrr.....just give up Jack! You'll never beat me!" Rontu teased, trying to pin Jack to the ground.

"Oh yeah?!" Jack shouted, placing his two paws on Rontu's chest. Finally, with quick skill, Jack was able to pin down Rontu. "You were saying?" Jack asked, his head high.

"Lucky shot...." Rontu mumbled, getting up.

Princess finally warmed up a bit & she lay, her eyes closed. She shifted in her position for a while, then slowly opened her eyes. WHAT? Princess was wide awake now. She didn't notice until now that Mystic was sleeping near Leo!!!! Princess wasn't a cold anymore, she was filled with hot anger. She was about to get up, but then came to her senses. What am I going to do? Shout "Hey that's my Leo!"? That'd only cause trouble....Princess gasped suddenly to herself. Since when did she care about causing trouble & others feelings? Slowly, Princess lay her head back down again, her eyes still on the wolf & dog though.

Sukari nuzzled Nat softly, "Shh.....it's ok, Nat. Don't worry, nothing's going to happen to you." Sukari whispered, glaring at Takuo & Lenia.

Takuo snickered at Fire's words. "Come on! Don't you remember? Hmm.....I better lay out the details. One, you stole my future mate. Although I have a-" Takuo glanced at Lenia. "A nice mate now, Sukari & I could have been happy together also." Takuo pointed at Nat with his nose. "Those could have been mine!" he shouted. "Plus, you all kicked us out of the pack. We only kill when needed.....and this is a certain need." he replied, drool coming out from the side of his mouth.

Lily looked up at her mom, feeling scared too. "Mother!" she cried.

"Shh....it's ok. Don't worry....I promise, nothing will happen." Sukari repeated.

Lenia walked in front of Sukari, still a few feet away. "Suki, Suki, Suki......Mother would be ashamed." she replied, "You already know........" Lenia crouched down so her eyes were making contact with the cubs. "You should never tell a lie...." Lenia replied, showing her teeth.

Lily crouched down, trying to squeeze herself into her mother.

Sukari put her leg in front of the cubs, blocking Lenia's view. "Get out of here, or else." she warned, snarling.

Midnight joined her, showing her front fangs.

Princess was some ways behind, her body shaking furiously. Each step seemed to stab her paws. Her nose felt like needles were poking into them all the time. She paused for a while, trying to stay small & curled.

Tia paused & looked back at the rat. She frowned a little. She had actually been enjoying Princess' silence for the while. Tia's frown turned into a sympethetic smile. She walked over to Princess & gently put her head under Princess' stomach. Princess slid down her neck onto her back. Tia stared at her for a while & smiled again. Tia continued, amazed again at herself.

Tia looked from Tetsuya to Leo. She lowered her head slightly also, feeling a bit guilty for this. She still was curious about what Leo would do though. Tia had her own deciscion to make also. This is a little hard.........I really disagree with Tetsuya though......just because a couple of humans hate him doesn't mean all are bad.....my two kids at home, Brian & Chelsie.....they're nothing compared to what Tetsuya said.....he just doesn't understand.....he needs to though. Tia decided to forget the whole thing & just spend time alone thinking over her own problems again.

Princess looked up at Dream. She was about to say something rude about Tetsuya, but immediately kept quiet, remembering Dream had feelings for him. She just sighed & lay down in a curled ball.

Lenia looked up at her mother's face, seeing fear & anger. "Mother?" Lily whispered.

Sukari didn't speak, her eyes wide with fear for her cubs. Takuo & Leina were returning to get them.

Suddenly, Takuo & Lenia appeared, knocking Fire off Shigeru. Takuo was about to take another swing at him, when Midnight appeared.

Midnight stood in front of Sukari & the cubs, snarling at the three. "Takuo, Lenia...." she said disgusted.

Takuo calmed down, pacing in front of them all slowly. "Well, well, well......we meet again. I'd like you to all meet Shigeru.....although I see you've already had the pleasure." he replied in his evil voice. "Ah, Sukari dear. Remember me?" he asked, walking a step towards her. Seeing all the wolves anxiety, he decided not to keep going. "It's a shame you choose Flames over me." he replied, looking sad. "Well, I'm sorry Sukari.....you're too late. Meet my new mate, Lenia." he replied, standing by her side.

"It's nice to see you two again. It's been a while." Lenia replied, her head high.

Midnight felt rage go down her whole body. Lenia didn't deserve to live, but Midnight didn't have the guts to kill even a wolf like her. She was their sister, an evil one at that though.

Sukari took a nother step forward, glancing at her cubs first. "Ok, whatever. You have Lenia. What do you want with us?" she asked, glaring at Takuo.

Lenia snickered, walking over to Midnight & Sukari. She looked both of them in the eyes. "Oh, Suki......you should know your beloved sister already. I never give up.....no matter what." she replied, her claws digging in the ground. "Have you heard the news?" she asked, walking by Shigeru. "Takuo & I are new Alphas. We made our own pack, one that could never ban us......unlike others." Lenia talked, looking at the others out of the side of her eyes.

Midnight shook her head slowly. "No.....it's probably nothing.....it....it just smells like other wolves." she replied, not sure whether to check it out or not. Suddenly, back flashes of Takuo & Lenia came into her mind. She pictured Takuo closing his jaw on Fire & Lenia doing the same for Sukari. "I'll be back, Hideaki......I have to check something. Wanna come?" she asked, already running.
